BLUE Posted by Hello

This is just a picture of the little BLUE sheet that Bella colored today (the story is under the title "RED and BLUE", below)
Don't you remember coloring worksheets like this? I wanted to color so badly today. I loved activity books when I was a kid...looking back, I really was kind of a nerd.

You were never a nerd.

I'm ashamed that I never knew about this huge artistic bent you have; writing, art, photography, appreciation for the arts. I had no clue and I'm sorry. I've always been kind of self absorbed.

Love, V

Oh, it's not something I announced or anything. I wish I had discovered my "authentic self" in high school, when I had all the time in the world. Now I feel like I have all of this bottled up creativity and passion that wants to come out and only gets the chance to surface in 20 minute intervals throughout the day. I could go on and on about this subject, but maybe I'll save it for a blog entry...

The same thing has happened to me. There's something about leaving the old and familiar environment and being exposed to the rest of the world. I too have a pent up artistic bent that is just now getting released. I'm glad you are discovering your's much earlier than I discovered mine. It's fun isn't it?

Love, V

well said, mom! we're quite the family of artists!
I think for so long I was afraid to use that word, artist, for fear that a "professional" would tell me, "No, you're not" Who decides when one has reached "artist realms"? I've embraced it, if i do nothing more, than take mediocre pictures of my kids or write in this silly blog, I will still consider myself to be an artist, I may even add that to the end of my name!
Mindi Bartell, Artist. Sounds good to me...

Mindi Bartell, Artist sounds great to me. Really.

Constance, Model Par Excellance does too.

You have to get some Julia Cameron books. You will be so encouraged. I promise.

Love, V Super Model Par Excellance
